The forging process is a technique where metal is heated to high temperatures and plastically deformed under pressure to manufacture parts with specific shapes and properties. This process is usually accomplished through hammering or pressing and includes several key steps.

First is material preparation, selecting suitable metal materials such as steel, aluminum, copper, or titanium alloys. Next, these materials are heated above their recrystallization temperature to enhance their plasticity. Then, pressure is applied through hammering, pressing, or rolling to deform the material into the desired shape. Finally, the forged material needs to be cooled, followed by heat treatment and machining to improve its performance and surface quality.

The entire forging process aims to achieve the ideal strength and shape of the metal materials by controlling heating and pressure, adapting to various application demands.

Post-forging CNC machining is a crucial step to ensure product precision and quality. Custom forging can enhance material strength and alter the basic shape, but it often results in minor deformations and surface roughness. CNC machining precisely trims these imperfections, ensuring dimensions and tolerances meet requirements. It also improves surface smoothness and handles complex geometries and details, such as holes and cuts. By combining custom forging and CNC machining, the advantages of both are fully utilized to produce high-quality and fully functional products.
